About Me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of West Georgia. I have worked professionally in a variety of clinical and therapeutic settings. Please feel encouraged to ask me about my education, training, and professional work.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my therapeutic approach is rooted in Humanistic Psychology, which honors your inherent potential for growth, healing, and self-discovery. I am committed to creating a safe, empathetic space where you can explore your inner world with curiosity and compassion. My integrative practice combines evidence-based methods such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy to meet your unique needs and goals.
How I Work
In our work together, I draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you identify your values and create a life aligned with them. This approach fosters mindfulness and self-compassion while encouraging acceptance of difficult emotions as part of the human experience. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy provides practical tools to recognize and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, equipping you with strategies to navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, or stress.
I also place a strong emphasis on the process of therapy and the therapeutic relationship itself. Our work will involve more than addressing symptoms—it’s about understanding the dynamics unfolding in the here-and-now of our relationship as a pathway to deeper growth and insight. This focus helps us access patterns of relating, coping, or perceiving that may be limiting you, offering a unique opportunity for change and healing.
Psychodynamic Psychotherapy allows us to explore the deeper layers of your emotions, relationships, and past experiences to uncover patterns and themes that may be influencing your present life. By developing insight into these dynamics, we can work together to foster healing and create space for new possibilities. Through the lens of Existential Therapy, we’ll explore questions of meaning, purpose, and authenticity, helping you cultivate a deeper connection to yourself and your life’s direction.
My Philosophy
I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth and change, no matter how overwhelming life’s challenges may seem. Therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to uncover insights, make meaningful connections, and build the skills you need to move forward with confidence and clarity. Whether you’re seeking relief from immediate struggles or embarking on a deeper journey of self-discovery, I am here to support you with warmth, empathy, and a belief in your ability to thrive.
